Blueberries was born out of first-hand experience with a problem.
Our founder, Bryan, worked in FP&A at Cross River Bank, where he experienced just how complicated and inefficient financial planning could be. Traditional cost allocation methods created unnecessary overhead, blind spots, and uncertainty.
To solve this, Bryan built a new model for his own work which dramatically improved accuracy and streamlined the process. When his department saw the impact, it was clear this approach had the power to transform finance far beyond one company.
In August 2024, Bryan left Cross River to found Blueberries and bring this vision to life. Less than a year later, in June 2025, the first Alpha version launched, marking the beginning of a new era for FP&A.
